Who am I ?

As a Belgian contemporary artist, I have always been immersed in a world of visual creativity, shaped from my earliest childhood by my mother’s love for art.

Life’s circumstances let me to pursue a professional path away from the artistic world but my determination was stronger and today, my artistic creation is the expression of my fierce will to be fully myself.

My work invites us to explore the invisible, our intangible boundaries that structure our emotions, our thoughts, our experiences, our memories.

What I am interested in creating a space of doubt and uncertainly, where these boundaries move, blend together and sometimes disappear. 

Photography is my starting point, but never my final goal. Through different processes of transformation and construction, I challenge familiar visual references and play with perception, colour, density, transparency, rhythm, and line, seeking to reveal what exists beyond the image. 

My work invites a dialogue between our inner and outer world, between reality and the way we perceive it. 

It is within this changing space, between these two worlds, that I find the meaning and purpose of my artistic practice. 

I want to give everyone the freedom to look beyond the obvious, question the way they see things, and explore new perspectives, while leaving room for their own emotions, memories and imagination.
